ISA Server 2006 log archive

Hello experts.

I am new in ISA administration, but I have a task to migrate to ISA 2006. I have a problem with database log archive.

In ISA 2000, there was log files in .txt format, whitch we manually have copied on our backup servers, and we have logs for at least 3 years.
ISA 2006, don't let you copy log files, because server lock MSDE database files.
Didn't tried 3rd option .w3c files and .iis, because don’t know how to work with them after
We don't want to create SQL database.

If u stop the isa 2006 services, the msde database file should not be locked?
even better, if there is any way to get th data out of msde databses, then u stop the isa 2006 services, the msde database file should not be locked, and you can back it up or move to archive locations.

Thst's ok with that, once in a month I can stop ISA server for one-two hours and copy all logs to backup server.

But if there is need to get information about user internet usage for half a year, and my 60GB ISA log disk can contain only data for 1 month, how to coplete this task? How to complete this task?

In ISA 2000 we had a little program which can convert logs for some period of time(half of the year) in one file, whitch we could import to excel and work with that information.
In ISA 2006 there is .iis files or .mdf .ldf logs.

Maybe you know some way or some program to work with a lot of ISA logs (at least half a year data)
