Get Group Header above Details

How do you insert a group which goes above Detail section and with a page break so only one group on a page?
E.g. if the data is this:
Company      InvIDs
CoA      333
CoA      334
CoB      337
And you want the report to be:
Page 1
Page Head: Company Name: CoA
Details: InvIDs
333
334
Page 2
Page Head: Company Name: CoB
Details: InvIDs
337

Every time I insert a group it goes below the Detail section, not where i want it, in the page header.

Go into section expert and select the group header it will display you properties winow where you can check the "new page After" checkbox. it will display each new group in new page. best of luck

Actually you want either

NEW PAGE BEFORE on the groiup header or NEW PAGE AFTER on the group footer.

Use the formula rather than the check box.
For New Page Before on the group header use
Not OnFirstRecord

On the group footer use
Not OnLastRecord

Otherwise you will get a blank page as the first page or last page

Groups go around the detail section
Group header
Details
Group footer

Thanks for that, I get the page break, but I'm having problems getting the Group header above the Details (So its in the page header, not in with the details)
if you will select the options for group header then it will solve your issue.

I've been scratching my head with this Group Expert dialog for ages, and I can't see it an option for where the group header goes!
I go Group Expert/Choose my field to group on, click Options, then I get a tabbed dialog with Common/Options the two tabs, neither of which seems to be giving me the chance to place the group header...
You can't place the group header.

To get what you want you have to drag the field that is in the group header into the page header.

The other way to do this is on the second tab of the group expert.  CHoose to print the group header on each new page.

So lets say I put the CompanyName (which I want to group on) in the Page Header, would I then still add a group header, (which would go with the details), but maybe make it invisible, but use it for the 'force page break' aspect of grouping?
