Does restarting the Hyper-V Networking Management Service affect network connectivity to the VM's, Im getting "error enumerating the machine's network switches

Thanks, Unfortunately the reason i am having to do this on Host 3 is because nothing will migrate from host 3 to Hosts 1 or 2, and nothing from Hosts 1 and 2 will migrate to 3, it was all working up until today, the only difference between the 2 hosts that are working and Host 3 is the attached error when i go into the Virtual Network Manager on 3, i think as there in an issue with the networking on host 3 it is causing any migrations to or from this node to fail.

Looks like i will have to bite the bullet and just restart the service and hope it comes back, its typical that this host is running our 2 most critical VM's!

Hi Yes thats correct, In Fail Over Manager we have 3 Cluster Networks

Prod vTeam

ISCSI

HV Live Migration

You can put your VMs into a saved state

It's like hibernation, that way they will restart faster

In order to restart that service will i need to restart the Guest VM's to?

Thanks, i restarted this service last night and there was no interuption to the VM's network connectivity at all

It also solved my issue of getting that error and not being able to live migrate

Thanks, just for anyone viewing this in furture, for me  there was no interuption to guest VM's network connectivity when restarting this service, the ping was continuous throughout.
