Canon MFD Driver and Windows 7 PC

asrvwiz used Ask the Experts™
We have two Windows Server 2008 R2 Print Servers and we are hadning out printers with group policy.  Windows 7 32 bit and 64 bit machines will not install any Canon MFD from group policy.  The printer can be added manually and driver installed manually.  Once the Canon driver is installed on the machine it will pull the printer down from policy.  There is no trouble on Windows XP machines with getting the printer from group policy.
I've tried turning off UAC on the Windows 7 machine in thinking this was preventing the download of the driver, but still did not work.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You

In order to add the printer to the machine, you have to have local admin privileges.  Using GPO. this means you need to use a STARTUP item to add the printer to the machine, followed by a LOGIN script to add it to that user.
