External table s needs to access the OS/Flat file to access the data.
Is there any size limit for the OS/Flat file?

no! you external flat file will become too large to handle but there is no limit.

Test with the biggest flat file you have.

Oracle would not impose a restriction on the size of a file at the OS level.  The OS would restrict the size of the file.
I'm not aware of any size restrictions in using external tables, other than those imposed by the operating system i.e. maximum os file size.  Even this can be circumvented as multiple files can be used for a single external table.

I suspect the issue is more likely to be performance if the file(s) on which the external tables are based are huge.
