CISCO ASA talking to a Netgear ADSL Modem

jimboyle1981 used Ask the Experts™
Hi everyone,
I have a new Cisco ASA 5510 Firewall and I am trying to get this to connect this to my network
I have a Netgear ADSL2+ DM111P Modem for access to the Internet. This is setup with PPPoA Bridging.
This Netgear plugs into Port 0/1 on my Firewall
The Netgear has a static IP Address from my ISP
I have a switch connected to Port 0/0 and my PC is connected to this switch.
I have a couple of questions with regards to this
My first question is as PPPoA is setup on the ADSL Modem will this work with the Cisco ASA.
Does anyone have a sample config which I could try for this.
Appreciate any help for this.

Sorry, the ASA doesn't support PPPoA, only PPPoE. You could try to see if the netgear can do bridging. That way it will become 'transparent' and the ASA will hold the public IP on it's outside interface.
