When you open a profile with Outlook 2010 for the first time, the profile is updated to be compatible with the new version.
Once this is done, you can not revert to older Outlook Versions or you'll receive the error.

So somehow your profiles where updated.
you should not mix roaming profiles between systems with different Outlook versions.
solve the mixture and reset the profile.

If this was the case, you will have to recreate the profile to be able to open it with an older version of outlook.
if user using outlook 2010 and he trying to use outlook 2007 or older version then user used to get the error message as you mentioned. to fix this issue you need to create a new profile for user as ded_ch mentioned or try to delete the outlook files and folders under user profile folder.


How do you reset the profile for citrix
goto citrix profile path and rename the user profile.


I belive i have to take ownership of that profile on that path , I cant even delete that .. Is that true
