Hallo

One of my best Friend is starting a new job. Now she must learn WhatsUp (Network Monitoring Software & Server Management Tools). They have not asked any requirements , just told learning will is a must. What is the best way for her to learn it? Online or Books? Is there any free Source lo learn? She would prefer German.

Thanks in Advance.

If there is no requirements then it's her preference, I would focus on "how she learns", is she visual, linear - uses words, hands on, etc. As far as her language preference they have a free trial, she should be able to determine if they offer a alternate language.

I would download and begin with this. Does she have her own network she can test / learn the product? Does she have a virtual environment she can test / learn the product?

Hi WORKS2011

Thanks for your quick reply.
She can not understand quickly, but I think she can pick the stuff...
She is only having a Server 2008 R2 and a Client. Is it enough to test?

probably better to start small and build from there, so I think its fine. It's a server and client, can monitor the switch too, internet. Start small and build. It's not the size of the network that is going to help her learn the software. Server, client, switch, software, internet...there's plenty for her to learn with the network she has.
