Shortcut To Server

Ok I need to put a shortcut to a server on a workstation in the same domain is that possible? and if so how do I go about doing it?

Is this for remote desktop or a path?  You can use \\server name\path for a path on the server.  For remote desktop, click on options and save it.  From windows explorer right click on the path and go to the desktop then right click and paste shortcut

You can create a network drive then right-click create shortcut

Ok the user needs to be able to pull files off of the server to use on her cpu so I assume I need a path if so how do I go about making it?

That takes me to the server and it asks for a username and password and when I put in my admin password it says that i cant use it because I am logged in as administrator?
Share the folder you want to access then map network drive to the shared folder you can then create a shortcut for the map drive
