Web Image Gallery

Hey Experts,

I need to create a image gallery that changes the html descripion below the image when the image is flipped. Here is an example: http://www.bbc.com/travel/slideshow/20120413-to-the-ends-of-the-earth   .... There are plenty of things out there for image galleries: http://galleria.io/

But I don't know how to go about making a description change when the image is flipped.

Here are the gallery scripts I am considering: http://samhowat.com/10-best-photo-gallery-scripts-for-web-developers/

Any ideas?

Jeff,

Your example doesn't seem to be working, so I am not sure exactly what you have in mind. Generally, this shouldn't be hard to do - if you are talking about changing image and text on mouseover, that's not hard. If you are taking about changing a caption each time an image changes, either by click or automatic slideshow action, there are already scripts that do that.

Maybe if you can expand a little on the action you need, or find an example that works, we can help you further.

Cheers,

lherrou, I'm not sure why that isn't working for you, unless you can't access the BBC website. It works fine for me....   Where are you accessing from? With regards to the question, I need an html block to change it's text when someone clicks the 'next picture' button on one of these slideshow implementations.

atique_ansari, that is a wordpress plugin and won't help. Also that isn't really close to what I was talking about. In my original post I linked to plenty of things similar to that.

I'm thinking that I'll just have to add some code to one of the slideshow implementations.

Sorry for the delay, I need some time to try this out.
I am still in the process of using/testing this question. I wouldn't say anyone should get points yet. I am an active member, and I close answered questions regularly. Please trust me to do so with this one.
jeffiepoo,

You have to hit the grey "Object" button or it will automatically close.
