How can I make my .pdf file print faster
I have a 8 page .pdf file that is 1.14mb. When I print it it takes about 1 1/2 minutes to complete. If I open up the printer queue its size states 16.8mb. I'm printing to an HP 1320n over 10/100.
I'm printing a newsletter that has been exported to .pdf file. There are images within the .pdf file.
I tried converting the file to .png, .jpeg and .tiff but the printing speed was increased by only a small amount. Plus when converting the text wasn't as clear.
I'm printing the .pdf in a Windows environment.
Thanks in advance.

Points are for your efforts. If the printer had more memory I don't think it would be an issue. Next time I'll know.
Many thanks 1namyln. Hope all your printer issues will soon be resolved.
Also before exporting your document you might be able to compress the file as part of the conversion, which should put less pixels on every page and thus speed up the printing.
All I could suggest is play with a few settings on your printer driver, and also try various other methods of converting your newsletter into PDF format. There are various tools out there that might convert it in such a way that it prints quicker after the conversion process has ended.
