Dear Experts

I have a Table as shown below.

Combination 1
Table A      Table B      Table C      Table D      Table E      Table F       Table G      Table H      Table J
1      10      19      28      37      46      55      64      73
2      11      20      29      38      47      56      65      74
3      12      21      30      39      48      57      66      75
4      13      22      31      40      49      58      67      76
5      14      23      32      41      50      59      68      77
6      15      24      33      42      51      60      69      78
7      16      25      34      43      52      61      70      79
8      17      26      35      44      53      62      71      80
9      18      27      36      45      54      63      72      81

There are 81 people seated in "tables" numbered A to J on a combination called Comb1. There are 10 combinations in Total. I need to manipukate the table to show like as below:

Person      Comb11     Comb2 ....Comb 10
1                 Table A      Table B      Table C
2
3
.
.
81

Can this be done in Excel or Access?  Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Anand

Hi, Anand.

There are lots of ways to do this - the attached just uses formulas.

Thanks Brian

Its amazing! The formulaes you used is genius.  Could I ask is it possible to extend the people count to 144 and the tables to run from Table A to Table L?

Thanks

Anand
Hi, Anand.

Apologies for the delay, but finally please see attached.

The original, frankly, felt a bit silly, so I feel that this version is really pushing things. It's probably OK if this is a one off exercise, but if this file is going to live and change into the future then I think we need an alternative solution.

Please let me know what you'd like done!
