I have a need to do some connectivity troubleshooting.

My first thought is to use some type of ping tool |

But I would like to be able to ping around 10 devices and have a log of ping success/failure
and a time/date stamp.

Any products/shareware out there that would do the trick

If you want something quick & easy just used a scheduled task to run a batch script every 10 minutes...save the text as "pinglog.bat".

Below saves the date/time...the test is on my local 192.168.1.x network. I ping my default gateway, I ping an outside source, then I ping 3 local machines.

date /t >> c:\pinglog.txt
time /t >> c:\pinglog.txt
ping 192.168.1.1 >> c:\pinglog.txt
ping 4.2.2.2 >> c:\pinglog.txt
ping 192.168.1.10 >> c:\pinglog.txt
ping 192.168.1.11 >> c:\pinglog.txt
ping 192.168.1.12 >> c:\pinglog.txt
echo ---------------------------------------------------- >> d:\pinglog.txt
