Hi Guys
I am interested in buying hardware to support Windows Server 2008 R2.
I know Microsoft has their own spec, but what specs to you recommend?

I want to keep price at a minimum but I also want to be able to utiize it to set up multiple domain controllers on multiple domains so I can practice Active Directory migrations etc.

Thanks

I want to use this for my own lab, so I can learn and test stuff before I go to clients.
it will not be used for a production environment.

Therefore I only want to spend as little as possible.

Any good ideas on where to buy something USED?

Hi Motnahp00
So you have 2008 R2 SP1 installed on all 3 of those machines?
Yes.

Each machine is also serving as a DC.
