for some reason the copy &amp;&nbsp;paste function in my excel stops working.<br />

If a cell has a formula and I copy and paste it, it will paste the value but not the formula.<br />

Sometimes the format painter stops working as well. <br />

At first I 'thought' this happened when I open up an older spreadsheet in compatibility mode first before other 2010 spreadsheets first. but i am not able to replicate this behavior. <br />

by the end of the day this functionality will not work for me. has anyone seen this before?

Win7/Excel 2010

for some reason the copy & paste function in my excel stops working.

If a cell has a formula and I copy and paste it, it will paste the value but not the formula.

Sometimes the format painter stops working as well. 

At first I 'thought' this happened when I open up an older spreadsheet in compatibility mode first before other 2010 spreadsheets first. but i am not able to replicate this behavior. 

by the end of the day this functionality will not work for me. has anyone seen this before?
