Windows 7 requires activation on every boot

Can someone explain to me why every time I reboot my machine Windows requires activation? There are a few around the office that all exhibit the same symptoms and I would really like a resolution.

Check your activation status.

slmgr -dli

If you have an invalid state, you can activate your product with the following:

slmgr -ipk <your key>
slmgr -ato
slmgr -dli

came back with Licensed....but when I reboot it will be invalid again.

but just for S&G's I ran the slmgr -ipk and the key and it returned a "Error: 0xC004F050 The Software Licensing Service reported that the product key is invalid"
