Formatting and coloring a Group Box

I have a lot of check-boxes and I need to group them. I can insert t group box into the worksheet. But I can do up till that point. Is there a way to add a background to the group box or add background color or any other formatting options? to make the collection look distinct and clean? Any suggestions – I don’t seem to find any formatting options on how to do that? Is there any other form control types that might help here?

Thank you

Why not just insert a boxed shape then put the controls on top?  You can insert a text box to label the top box so it looks like a frame.  Then group it all together (or as much as Excel will allow you to group) using shape grouping so you can move it around as "one object".

See attached.
