Exchange 2007 - Prevent CC/BCC being delivered
Experts,
We run Exchange 2007.
We receive support emails through a distribution list (IT). One of the members is our support software (ITMailbox).
When Mail is received by ITMailbox it shows the recipient as the distreibution list (IT) not as itself (ITMailbox)
We are trying to prevent delivery (delete) where the Distribution list (IT) is in CC or BCC. The rules allow to check by name but not by dist list. Anyway to accomplish this?

Rather than having the app send emails to the distlist, why not just use user names?

I still might not be understanding but....
How about then, instead of having it setup to send emails.
Only use a single Email Account.
Then share that Account out to the other Member of the DL list.
If using 2007 or ealier it can be added as a ddional mailbox
If using 2010, You can set it up on each users Outlook Profiel to be a fully functioning Exchange mailbox, allowing users to work directly in the mailbox and reply directly to Emails
