when running the rules check, it states that the computer must be restarted.  I've restarted it twice.  How do I get it to install?

This is what you do:

1. Start regedit.exe
2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager
3. Locate PendingFileRenameOperations
4. Remove any data associated with the value (you may want to export the value for later review)
5. Reboot and rerun installation, check should pass.

After rebooting if you face the same problem (most probably you won't), then redo the above steps without Rebooting and directly running the setup of SQL server again.

See attachment.  I don't have Pendingfilerenameoperations.  And what I have the value is not set.

I did a search and found it in Controlset1.  Is that ok to change?

I found the one you posted.  It worked by not rebooting.  I just need the basic for SQL,  of the choices listed in the attachment, what do you recommend?
