SQL Server restore through CA Arcserve SQL Agent Error "Cannot open backup device"

Hello - we're having trouble restoring a SQL Server 2005 database to a different location from the original location, for testing purposes.  The backup software is Arcserve Backup for Windows v16 on Win2008, and restoring to a SQL Server 2005 DB system on a separate Windows 2008 server.  The restore gets in to about 5%, and then fails with the following message in Arcserve:

"Restore backup session. (EC=Microsoft SQL Server Error 3201 (ODBC State = "37000"): [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Cannot open backup device 'CA_BAB_MSSQL_76b45b0_1000_1c639ed_test'. Operating system error 0x80070005(Access is denied.).)"

The SQL instance is setup for SQL Authentication using the SA account, and the account being used to access the machine itself is a domain admin account (my own).  Also, I added my account explicitly under the local Administrators group on the destination server, to no avail.  It seems like it's being blocked by the OS, but I cannot see why.

Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you
