Windows x64 imaging with x86 WinPE

I booted up a laptop with WinPE x86 (I created USB bootable with the WAIK) and have used the ImageX utility to apply an x64 image to the C-Drive partition of a hard drive.

Is this going to cause problems?

I had to run an x86 version of this command against the local C:\Windows of the X64 Windows directory:

bcdboot c:\windows /l en-us

Will this cause boot issues or is it compatible?

my laptop is booting up fine now (out of box boot) but I'm not sure if it will cause stability problems...
