Windows 7 blocking unsigned drivers ---
I've spent several hours troubleshooting this but have given up, more or less.
Here's the story:
Laptop Lenovo Thinkpad T400 - installed win 7 Enterprise, domain joined, logged on user is local admin, UAC is disabled, i've tried both promt and disable for Code Signing Driver Install in gpedit.msc, i've tried bcdedit -set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS and bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON. I've changed keys in registry.
But still - when connecting, among other things - USB-to-Serial adapter, new driver for integrated soundcard, fingerprint sensor, integrated webcam -- it all stops with Blocked since it is an usigned driver. I've run Thinkvantage System Update for newest drivers - and still this happens to some of the drivers from thinkvantage.
And even some of the drivers show up as signed by Microsoft Hardware Compatibility (!!!)
And the strangest thing is - I just reinstalled the laptop since hard drive broke. With old install - which would be more or less identical - all of this worked with no problem !!!
I have also tried installation with local admin, local user, domain admin and computer not joined to domain. Still f---ing the same ! Already broke one external keyboard in rage and fury ---
Any ideas or do i need to reinstall ..... ?!?!!??!
BTW: This did not happen to start with - i ran system update with no problem to start with - and suspect this happened after a Windows Update was installed. But unfortunately - i installed more or less 60 updates on april 12th ---

Have you tried this:
Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider (DSEO)
http://www.ngohq.com/home.php?page=Files&go=cat&dwn_cat_id=34
Basically lets you SIGN the drivers yourself, and makes this a non-issue!

I found another blurb on using the tool here:
http://thehotfix.net/forums/index.php?/topic/25436-how-to-load-and-run-unsigned-drivers-in-64-bit-windows-7/
=======INSTRUCTIONS FROM ABOVE SITE:==========
RUNNING LOADED UNSIGNED DRIVERS
Β
The program is found here, search for "Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider 1.3b" or "dseo13b.exe". It also can be found with a google serach.
Β
http://www.ngohq.com/home.php
Β
The load instructions are simple. As usual TURN OFF UAC.
Β
1. Run dseo13b.exe program
2. click "enable test mode". This allows 64 bit Windows 7 to be used for testing drivers
3. I rebooted to be safe, and you will see a faint test mode print in the corner
4. Now open Device Manager and find the location of the unsigned drivers that wont work, by expanding Properties and Driver Details. Your looking for something like C:\Windows\System32\driver s\xxxxxxx. sys
4. Run dseo13b.exe program again
5. This time select "sign a system file" and put in the location of the file you found in Device Manager
6. Repeat for all files in question then close. You have now assigned a signature to those files
7. Reboot
Β
If all goes well, you now have your unsigned drivers working and all is well.

forgot to say --- tried that one as well - didn't work and no intention of signing all my drivers myself
