OS X
Hi All,
Have a little problem not very familiar with mac os x
I have a client who's Mac died, but hard disk is ok. Ive recovered his data (docs, music, pictures, etc) on a windows 7 system using HFSexplorer to view disk
but not sure where to access his address book
I did a quick Google and came across the line path below
Library/Application Support/AddressBook
but nothing there unfortunately
The mac is about 6 years old. Not sure what version of OS X
any ideas appreciated

You can copy it to another mac but you have to watch out for few things:
You have to protect the folder with the same name on the destination mac. You could for instance rename that one temporarily. Addressbook_original or something.
You will also need to replace some preference files (.plist) too. Go into the /Users/HisLogInName/Librar y/Preferen ces/ and do a search in the search field at the top. Look for: addr and move those files too. First put the current files into a temp folder on the Desktop to avoid confusion.
Hopefully this would do it. Be sure to move copies.
