STSADM.EXE Error
I am trying to run a command line script on my SharePoint server and receive the following error: "c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\web server extensions\12\bin\stsadm.e xe is not a valid Win32 application".
How do I resolve the error? What is the fix? What causes the error?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I ended up restoring the entire 'BIN' directory from a backup.
I tried just restoring the .exe but it was looking for another file in the directory that was most likely corrupted as well.
So restoring the entire directory replaced any other files that had been corrupted.
All of your suggestions brought me to my resolution.
Thanks

What I have just discovered is the file size of STSADM.exe, which happens to be 0 KB.
This is most likely the source of the problem.
How does something like this occur and is there a fix for it?
