BDE Error 13059
I am running Windows 7 64 bit and when trying to connect to an Oracle DB with BDE Delphi 7 I am getting the following error attached

I installed Delphi 7 into C:\Borland instead of C:\Program Files.... and I was able to make the connection to Oracle.
oh,
right click on delphi 7 and run as administrator
would have worked too
uac is enabled on your pc
it limits updates to software running as admin only
bde is probably using a dir in c:\program files to save temp files

I would prefer to install into C:\borland instead of giving user admin rights

BDE has been deprecated (for a decade)
so you will not get any support for it anymore
use a other connection component like ADO, or ODAC from www.devart.com
