How to connect a SCSI tape drive to server without SCSI interface?

Last Modified: 2012-06-05
Hello experts,

I am trying to figure out a way to connect a Quantum TC-L33CX tape backup device to our file server, but the Quantum device only has SCSI interface inputs and our file server does not have any SCSI ports.  Is there any adapters for SCSI?  Perhaps a SCSI to USB adapter?  Does anyone have any other suggestions?  My last resort is to purchase a PCI SCSI card, but they are pretty expensive and may not work with our server anyway since all the ones I found say they are for "HP Proliant" servers and that is not the kind of server that I am trying to backup.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
