I need help tweaking our System Requirements blurb

StevenHook used Ask the Experts™
The "system Requirements" blurb on out software disks need a bit of work,
I've noticed that often people who have those new tiny laptops don't comply with the min system requirements, and I was wondering if putting a line to say something like:
** Especially applicable to netbook owners"
But I know that many of the manufacturers use their own jargon, like EEEPC, netbook, notebook, Micro....
Do you think that using the word "netbook" would generally encompass all these little laptops or is there a better umbrella term to use?

Usually they missing a DVD drive and have a resolution less than 1024X768

Certainly, the suggested text will work if the systems requirements are read.
What about a WMI query to test your minimum requirements and open a message box when the specifications fall short?

I would agree with netbook as a term for small laptops, since the larger ones are as powerful as desktops.  Mentioning the minimum screen resolution and need for optical drives would drive the point home.

Thanks :)
The software won't install if it's not up to spec,
I just need them to have warning on the DVD packaging so when they call and complain we can say that they are clearly displayed.
