Removed Application Data Redirection in Group Policy now pinned icons won't work in Win 7

Based on recommendations, about a month ago I disabled Application Data redirection in Group Policy but didn't delete the Application Data folders from the server.

Over the weekend, I ran a script that removed them.

This morning, CRAZY things are happening.

For starters, all icons pinned to the taskbar won't work.  You can remove them.. and add them back (which most of our users won't know how to do).

So far it doesn't seem like anything tragic...  but is there an easier way to fix this that any of you are aware of?

The reason I disabled and removed Application Data was based on this thread:

When you enable folder redirection you have the option of returning the files to the original locations when the gpo is removed.  I'm guessing you overlooked this and the clients have a virtually empty appdata folder now.

I'd suggest restoring those files now and go though your folder redirection options again.

Where is the option to move them back to their original location??

Thanks!
