GPU for RemoteFX

We are building a mini cloud system at the moment and have come up stuck when installing remote FX on our hosted 2008 R2 system.

We are getting the error that the server does not have the correct processor:

the processor on this computer is not compatible with hyper-v

We are trying to use vmware ESXi as our hypervisor. So I suppose there are 2 questions:

Can RemoteFX be used on top of a ESXI infrastucture?

What do I need to look for on a GPU? Or can anyone recommend a good but cheap option. around £250/300$ would be perfect.

RemoteFX is a technology used with RDS, the CPU and GPU must be RemoteFX compatible.

Are you trying to run Hyper V nested inside ESXi?

No. just trying to enable the remoteFX option without our virtualised windows server 2008 r2 system.
to do this you the hyper v process needs to be installed.

Is there a similiar client from vmware that enchances RDP? vmware view is only for internal use isnt it?

VMware View is the VDI Technology, which uses PCoIP for better user experience, similar and better than RemoteFX.

Available for download and evaluation.

Ok, I did read some where that you cannot use this with Windows Server 2008 R2. only with windows 7?
is that correct?

Yes, its for Desktops, To deploy virtual Windows7, Windows XP desktops

Ah ok, thats not going to work then.

This will be a hosted cloud solution offering desktops to external companies.. Using windows 7 for this is not legal unless you license their desktop aswell. T
