Blade can't see SAN (how do you turn U-Port into F-Port)
hi guys
we've got three ProLiant BL460c G7's inserted inside of a C7000 enclosure. The enclosure is connected to the SAN P2000. The first two blades are able to see the SAN. The third blade we just inserted, is unable to see the SAN.
I've taken a snapshot. Blades 1 and 2 are on ports 1 & 2. Blade 3 is on port 3.
Ports 1 and 2 are 'F'-type ports. Port 3 is a 'U'-type port. When we try to select port 3 and click on the 'Persistent Enable' on the menu, we get an error message saying 'Error when persistent enable port 3 - Bad port'.
I'm assuming this is the reason why we can't get it to work? Can you help?
