EVGA 670 SC 4GB FTW vs EVGA 680 2GB?

I don't use more than one screen, but I play resource intensive video games.

Which one is worth it from a price stand point and bang for your buck? Should I get the 670 or the 580 for some more money?

What size is your screen and how much RAM does your current comp have? If you only have 2gb RAM then getting the 4gb card would be useless as it can only use as much RAM as your comp has.

Love this site, especially for the side by side video card comparison. You can also get a 680 for same if not cheaper than the 580 card.

As well here is Nvidia's comparison of their own cards, so for the performance stand point, you will get more out of the 670 or 680.

Sorry I meant to sat 680, I don't mean to compare the 580 at all. It was a typo.

I play on a single screen at 1920-1080.

I just noticed that a 670 SC FTW is only about 50 dollars less than a regular 580..so it made me wonder which would be the best solution

Here's a chart  showing off BF3 tested with multiple different cards at 1920 x 1080 with like maxed out graphics. This will give you an idea in performance increase based on money/cost of cards. Usually the better cards are more future proof but a cheaper card with SLi down the line is cheaper overall and better then one best card...
