ESXi hypervisor is installed on a single disk datastore that I would like to take out of my server.  How can I migrate the ESXi hypervisor to the RAID datastore that I've already moved all my VMs to?  I want my server to will boot from the RAID datastore in the future?

Honestly, the easiest thing to do is just reinstall ESXi on the new RAID. Just document your configs and re-config your settings. If you have VMs on the same disk as your ESXi install, you'll need to copy them off to back them up. You can then copy them back after the reinstall and 'add them to inventory'.

Why not just install ESXi on a usb flash drive or sd card, and allocate all the space on your storage for VMs.

Here is the VMware KB on installing 4.1 on USB/SD:

if you do not want to do this, you will need to reinstall onto the RAID array, and recreate the configuration, which should not take you long, approx 5 minutes
