Try and restart the DNS Server service under Organization Configuration > Send Connectors > (your Send Connector name) > Properties > Network Tab > Check the box for "Use the Externam DNS Lookup settings on the transport server" Does that seem to help?

check the group membership of the exchagne groups  - exchange server and exchange trusted subsystem

if you run the Exchange BPA then it should highlight those permissions problems

also what recieve connectors do you have?

as a workaround you can always setup specific connectors for the servers and allow just their IP's
