In VB.net how do I break on the line causing the error and bypass my error handling code?

In the debug menu, select "Exceptions..." and place a check in the column "Thrown" for the row "Common Language Runtime Exceptions"

you can place a try catch block and leave the catch block empty or do some logging.

	' Your error line goes here

Catch ex As Exception

	' Step 3 - if exception occured        

End Try

' Step 4

So, the flow will be processed as you need. Try like this.
