It depends where DHCP is getting the IP from,

Is this a Domain environment?

IP addresses are given out by your DHCP server, it will depend on how busy your DHCP server is, as too whether you get a new lease.

what reason do you want a different IP address?

Make sure there are leases left in the IP Range on your DHCP server,

Otherwise, is it possible for you to give the machine a static IP?

if you are using DHCP, two machines should not have the same IP address.

You need to look at your DHCP server for the LAN.

Hello,

If someone else is using this IP, it means that its on Static IP. Dhcp server cannot deliver the ip twice.

Also, you can check on your dhcp server for this IP if it match with your Mac address. If yes, delete it (you will have another first free ip)

First ping the conflicting IP. Then try to use rdp and ssh on it. This will give you enough idea what machine it is and why is using a static IP.

The rest is simple.
