Windows Device Lock on PDA Appears to Close Browser Session
We are using Intermec CN50 PDA devices with the standard Windows 6.1 build.
When we wipe the device to factory settings, set the pin lock to 15 minutes and configure the data connection, we are able to log onto a webpage and leave the device for as long as we want until we decide to unlock the device and continue to browse the internet.
However, when we connect the PDA using active sync to Exchange 2010 and sync the device. We then leave the PDA turned on, it stays connected but the device does not lock. If we manually lock the device and leave for 30 mins upwards the browser shuts down and has to be relaunched when the device is unlocked.
We have full control of the device and it's settings but the council manage the ICT infrastructure such as exchange and security policies. We are not sure whats causing this problem and if there was settings we could try.

Let me check and get back to you in the morning. Thanks.

We connect directly with the exchange server using the server address using our logon ID and password for the network to connect to the mailbox.

We did check task manager and the browser didn't even show in there.
Are any other applications open before the lock that are closed after its unlocked?

Hi Mikal
That reg find has worked, however, i'd like to award you points for trying to help me?
Can I do that even though I found the fix myself?
Thanks, Mat
