I have a network card installed with two ports. One port allows me to access the VMs through the WMware Remote Console. The other port allows the VMs to access the Internet and other servers on the network. The port for the Internet died. How can I reroute the VMs to the management port, so that all traffic is going through the working port?

I am able to Putty into the box itself. I also have the VMware Remote software installed. Is there another piece of management software I need to have installed? If so, what is it called, and where can I get it.

Pretty simple really.

Use the VMware client and connect.
For each VM, edit the settings.
For the network, select the vmkernel switch (the one used for management)

You may need to shutdown the VM to make this change.

You also need to be sure the management NIC is in the same subnet as the VMs expect to be.
