ISA 2006 Setup for Exchange 2010.

I am helping with a migration from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 and tasked with setting up an ISA 2006 Enterprise server in a separate DMZ single leg configuration for the Exchange 2010 CAS servers. Does the server have to be a member of the domain? Can an expert send me a few pointers and a straight forward intruction?
