Everything was working fine on my server for the last six months. no changes have been made on the server or router.

In the morning we stop receiving emails,   I restarted the server and we started to receive emails .

2 hours we stop getting emails. I have looked at the logs and dont see any failures.

don't understand why we cant get email from the outside. we get emails from inside the domain through Blaberry and Iphone but no other emails.

The issue you're experiencing is due to back pressure in Exchange 2007. This can be due to low memory or disk space.

Please see the following link for further reading and how to resolve this problem too: http://www.petri.co.il/back-pressure-moving-queue-database-in-exchange-2007.htm

Here is another link if you wanted to turn it off - although I must stress this is not recommended: http://exchangepedia.com/2007/03/exchange-server-2007-how-to-turn-off-the-back-pressure-feature-on-transport-servers.html

I would recommend looking at your storage and RAM and making some investments there, also to note you want to also ensure Exchange is up to date on the latest service pack too, at the very least.

Best of luck!
