Hi Experts.

We have an existing website that is hosted by our ISP. We are interested in moving to Office 365 but they request that the domain be transferred to them.   I have no problem with the mail record transfer but I would like to leave the website as is.

can you advise me on this?

Many Thanks

hosting dns externally is no issue,
you just point the nameservers to the MS nameservers

in office365, you can then set up a www record that points to the ISP for your website

Thank you

Can youpoint me to a URL where I can read up on this?
ive had to do this a couple of times, it works best if you use office 365 name servers then create a custom A record to your website and your golden.  heres a great article on how to do this.
