I am trying to setup our CUCM server to be able to email CDR reports. Not automatically just manually. When I read the documents it tells me that CAR does not support SMTP authentication even though there are spaces for a password. We currently use Zimbra as our email client and I found a document to go around this by adding the ip address to the trusted MTA section but the problem is that CAR still requires a username. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Normally for username and password i put my LanID (email address alias) and my Lan (and email) password.

That way the email comes from my account to my account - see attached picture

Did you manage to test this?

are there any other mail settings besides the one under

system-->system parameters-->mail parameters?

seems it didn't like my password length and it wanted my mail server IP address instead of DNS name. Thanks for your help
