How do I turn off CONFIRM OPEN AFTER DOWNLOAD in windows 7.

In XP this was done in File Types but that is not available in Windows 7.

If you are opening a download (as distinct from saving it), UAC will always prompt you to confirm opening the file. Windows 7 is very different from XP.  .... Thinkpads_User

"Windows 7 is very different from XP"  Understood.  That is why I am asking the question.  I'm sure the prompt is very helpful if you are downloading a zip or exe file but I simply want to turn off the prompt for open Word and Excel docs.
When I get a link to a DOC or XLS file, I always get a prompt because there is more than one answer. I see this below:
