Linux on a WYSE Windows XPe thin client

Blink1976 used Ask the Experts™
We have various versions of WYSE Windows XP Embedded thin clients on our production floor.  We are interested in converting these to Linux with a Firefox browser.  Really all they need to do is load the Firefox browser so that the users can get to internal web apps.  Can anyone recommend a distro to use as I don’t think we are entitled to the version WYSE uses since they were bought as Windows devices.

You can actually keep both systems on there.  Use Ubuntu and install it as a separate Operating System on the client.  Once thats done, set it to automatically boot to Ubuntu.  You will have linux boot up everytime and if you need anything in Windows, you will have ability to boot to windows if needed.
