Removing all arrow controls on a DateTimePicker

I am using the DateTimePicker for display and edit purposes of the time. I would like the up/down arrows to not be used.  But when I turn ShowUpDown to false, what I see is the Calendar drop down arrow.  I want neither.

How do I turn them both off?

Thanks!

Part of my problem is I am adding the DateTimePicker to a DataGridView control.  So I do not have that level of control to catch events for the control.  I thought there was a preference I could set, which I could insert into the constructor of the DataTimePicker.
