System process taking up CPU power
I have a computer that is very slow, sometimes the System process takes up 50% CPU usage and the computer has to be restarted in order to end it. I did a malaware scan and ran a registry repair. What other things can i look for to see why this is happening? Windows XP OS.
in the run box, type msconfig
in startup tab, click diisable all
in services tab, clcik "hideMs services" then click disable all
reboot and test
if the problem is gone, finsd the cause by enabling programs and services in groups, or 1 by 1
