Hi,
I just moved a website from a Windows 2000 Server to a IIS7 on Windows 2008 R2.
This website is full of character "&" (ampersand) in filenames and directories.
On the previous server, all was working fine.
It's possible to manage this issue with renaming a lot of file?
Thankyou

Hi,
you can configure IIS to accept "&" in filenames and directories, but there are tons of arguments to avoid that - most of them from the security perspective.

What type of web site do you have? Static HTML pages, dynamic pages?

IMHO, a rename / replace would be the best solution.
One way would be to URL encode the ampersand to %26, another to completely replace it with "_and_".
