what kind of authorisation do you get from the server administrator??
remote desktop admin

> remote desktop admin

that should be a Windows credential, hence you are still tight on Windows/Domain Authentication, and you may benefit from using Single Sign On (SSO) based on domain authentication.

you may try using Remote Desktops MMC to experiment accessing RDP with SSO, just type below from Start | Run. make sure the computer is in the domain and your account belongs to Remote Desktop Admin.
