Restarted Exchange services and "old mail" was sent out.

While troubleshooting an issue I stopped and retarted the exchange services on a 2003 Small Business server.  Almost immediately the users were complaining that undeliverables were showing up in outlook.  A short time later replies were being sent asking why they were receiving old emails.   They are not being sent out by the user's PC's but from exchange.  What should I be looking at first?

You just discovered the "Greylisting Bug".

Please download the hotfix from the link below and install it to get rid of the problem.

Thank you for your response.  The article covers the NDR's but is a little vague about the email that were sent out.  Some are much older than a few days.  Would this still apply?

Thanks
