Change the Default contact listing in Outlook 2010

Have a customer using Outlook 2010 with exchange server 2008.  The customer had 16 personal profiles in his Contact list when we moved to Outlook 2010.

I copied one on the contact list into the new profile that is on his exchange server.  Thought all was well until he discovered that it is another contact list that he really wanted as the default.  One list is named contacts, and the other is contacts not, so I could tell them apart.

Is there any way (short of creating new contact list and moving things around) to change the default contact list?

You could

Create another Contact folder

COpy all the Contacts out of the main one into the new one
Now delete all the contacts from the Main Contact list

Now copy all your contacts required into the Default / Main Contact list
Then Delete the contacts from this list

Now copy over all the contacts from the new folder, into this one

When done, you shold have been able to move all contacts as needed
Once done you can delete the New Contacts folder, as it not required

That is what I ended up doing, but some of the group did not come in correctly and had to be recreated.
