NEC 8100 AND SONICWALL TZ200/100 VPN-VOIP VOICE DROPS

We have a NEC 8100 phone system.  At the main site where the system is we are using a TZ200 at remote site we have a TZ100 with a site to site VPN.  The phone rings on the other side but there is no voice between sites.  I have opened VOIP ports, plus ports 10000 - 20000 and ports 5080-5081.  Sip transfermation is disable on both.  Can anyone help me?????

Hello,

I have had this problem before.

Your Telephone System should have three IP Addresses.  Signal, Voice 1 and Voice 2.

Ports 5080 & 5081 must be forwarded to the IP address in command 10-12-09.
Ports 10020 – 10051 must be forwarded to the first IP address in command 84-26.
Ports 10052 – 10083 must be assigned to the second IP address in command 84-26.

Enable QoS for the Voice Traffic as well.

1.  Internal IP's or External IP's?
2.  Do I open up ports on both devices or the device where the phone system is?
3.  Would the first ip address in command be my nec system ip address?

My partner has support with NEC but he is out of town.  I may have to him give me is info for support so I can call them.

Does NEC know about this issue?

Do you know where in the NEC configuration I need to add IP's?

I tried the the forwarding method you advised but that didn't work....  I forwarded the ports to the ip addresses in the phone system.

How did your call go with NEC?  Did you manage to resolve it?

They had to reschedule the call, but as soon as I know the fix will will definitly let you know.  I know that others are having similiar issues.

I also have an issue with an IP phone that will connect to one site but won't connect to another and all routers are setup the same.

Routers
Routers

A router is a networking device that forwards data packets between computer networks. Routers perform the "traffic directing" functions on the Internet. The most familiar type of routers are home and small office cable or DSL routers that simply pass data, such as web pages, email, IM, and videos between computers and the Internet. More sophisticated routers, such as enterprise routers, connect large business or ISP networks up to the powerful core routers that forward data at high speed along the optical fiber lines of the Internet backbone. Though routers are typically dedicated hardware devices, use of software-based routers has grown increasingly common.
